Answering Your Questions
How long does a coaching engagement usually last?
Programs are tailored to you as the leader and the outcomes you’re working towards. Typically it is a structured program of six sessions over three to six months, allowing time to apply new approaches, reflect on real leadership challenges and embed lasting behavioural change.
Longer-term coaching is also available if you are navigating significant organisational transformation or ongoing executive responsibilities.

How is coaching different from mentoring?
Coaching helps you develop your own thinking, judgement and capability through structured reflection, powerful questioning and accountability. Rather than providing answers, as your coach I help you identify patterns, challenge assumptions and make better decisions.
Mentoring is typically based on sharing personal experience, advice and recommendations from someone who has faced similar situations. While both approaches can be valuable, coaching focuses on building your ability to navigate future challenges independently.
Can coaching support leaders during organisational change?
Yes. Organisational change places unique demands on leaders, requiring you to manage uncertainty, influence others, maintain trust and make decisions with incomplete information. Coaching provides a confidential space to think clearly, work through complex leadership challenges and strengthen the behaviours needed to lead change effectively.
Many coaching conversations focus on navigating resistance, improving stakeholder influence, increasing leadership presence, strengthening team alignment and maintaining resilience during periods of sustained pressure.
Do you coach leadership teams as well as individuals?
Yes. While many clients engage in one-to-one executive coaching, I also work with executive teams and senior leadership groups to improve alignment, decision-making, trust and collective leadership effectiveness.
This can include facilitated leadership team workshops, behavioural profiling using PRINT® or DISC, executive team coaching and consulting support for organisations leading complex transformation. Individual and team coaching are often combined to create lasting organisational change.
Do you only coach leaders in specific industries?
No. While I have extensive experience working in mining and resources, I also partner with leaders across government, property, infrastructure, health, education, not-for-profit and the private sector.
